Moment for a debate ?

In an ideal society, uniforms are great! They give a sense of consistency to all of the students and help keep kids from being judged by thr clothes.
However, this isn't a perfect society. While a student would ideally express themselves by joining a club or taking a class office or something, most kids express themselves by thr dress because it is something that everyone can readily see.
Uniforms aren't going to eliminate cliques, peer pressure and social groups. While it does seem beneficial on the surface, most kids won't take to uniforms happily and most won't see the use of consistency and unity in a school. At a time when children most are finding out their place in the world and how they will fit in, a need for individuality cannot be discarded.

I also agree with this. Because it will give a recognition for then as children and protection from others. This will also make equality among the children with different culture, social class and wealth.

Yes, cuz otherwise there would be no uniformity among childern and it would result in the rich people wearing fancy clothes and the poor people will probably be shunned for wearing the same set of old clothes so definitely in schools there should be uniforms​

This was the original intention of Dr. C.W.W. Kannangara, when he suggested the uniforms for school children, in the same time that he put froward the government act for free education.

Everybody may say, yes ofcoz , we school to be educated. Ok, if so , to be educated , since when a uniform got effected ? In our lives, we seek for comfort everytime everyway as possible.. so while havin a lifestyle like that , why would we follow the same shit once again to the schools..

What about the tution clases.. they dun have a proper dress code but still they r gettin educated by prefered lectureres.

My idea is a Yes !

I agree that students should wear school uniform to school. I believe that by wearing uniform, students will be more even though some students say it is such a hassle. I agree students should wearing uniform because teacher will easily identify the students. Images that there are no name tags, and students are wearing many types of cloth that follow the latest fashion. Maybe all of the teachers will give up because there is no discipline in school. So by wearing uniform , it shows that the students of the school are well-disciplined. Are you agree will my opinion. If not what is ur opinion?
