Me want phone eke qualities, not your qualities . But if you are suffering such leda duka qualities due to this phone, fine pls share it

For e.g gsmAreana says voice memo available. But it is not!!! and one has to put a 3rd party android app to have that feature. Also no call recording available!!!. Some 3rd party apps to do that are not free
These kinda features available built in even in decent dumb phones

Don't buy X10 because it comes with Android 1.6 and God knows when you gonna get an upgrade and I havent seen any custom ROMs for it. Buy a desire or Nexus one which has alot of custom ROMs and it is pretty easy to root them. I have a desire and already rooted it but if you have a bit more money buy a samsung Galaxy S which bit more better than desire or nexus one.

my friend got a x10 with freakin bug soo dont get it ;D
foget to tell one thing htc desire will get android 2.3 aka gingerbread but x10 is only android 2.1. no more updates for x10 fuckin crap phone dont waste your money get galaxy s or desire

Did you inform police/TRC or who ever and got the phone blocked?. I wonder how successful this is. Even if the phone cannot be used for calls can they sell for parts? Remember reading something on these lines in Elakiri.

If you don't mind my asking, did you misplace it, or someone had pick pocketed, or someone grabbed it and ran off?.

I was told this last point is something worth considering if one is going to pull out a 70 - 80k phone to answer a call or check something when out in a street or any place where potential thieves can see it, and even if they can not grab it then and there, can mark you and follow. A friend advised me to use a cheaper phone for answering calls in public places and if am getting an expensive smart phone, use it with caution!, preferably limit it to home use or only pull it out in public when in a group with muscle power . True but what a world
