hmmm....paying 2800/- for 512...when i can pay 3000/- to get 1MB unlimited....for a year its worth it....

WELL i use lankabell wimax 1mbps
patta stable Unlimited but the price is high than slt Service is excellent..
But The Service is available only in Certain Areas only...
i would say Lankabell is the best ISP in srilanka coz They have there Own Fiber cable = SLT bandwidth but less users.....

Mobitel ( after limit ) rs 2 for 10 MB ( in 1290 Rs. 1.50 for 10 MB ) e kiyanne samanyen additional 1 Gb walata 154-204 athara ganak yanne..

can you get more info...too lazy to ask and commit....

well bro im using it for almost 6+ months now as i do remember
1st u gota go to a lankabell branch and pay 2900rs
then they come to ur place to check signals with there GPS and laptop suff
then if signals are available they fixup the out door antenna and stuff ..
if signals are not there they refund 2000rs out of 2900rs u paid them ..

But u have to sign up for a contact that ur using the service for a year for the 1mb line @ 3000rs per month..


for the 512 line contract is for 2years and the connection fee is 7900rs
rental is 2000rs

The best package is the 1mbps line..

+ u get a email account which is useless...

U dont need a Router or a modem coz The Network cable from there Unit directly connects to the computers network card...
