Probably Paul Newman's best acting. Its a beautiful drama, well acted and directed.
Bruce Willis plays a good support role as well.

Not bad for a old Horror. But I've seen the remake, cause plot was all like deja vu to me :baffled:

Not Bad! Graphics sucks though, can't except more, it was just the dawn of animation at the time of the movie was released!

    Inception ....

well, it was better than I expected ..well made, well acted in most cases, good script (not flawless), good direction and whatnot. the movie worked so well within it's context(see a tale of two sisters for a much better and fascinating take on the same psychological trauma thing), as long as you didn't go looking deeper into depths that wasn't there..even the plot wasn't that hard to follow. and nolan wasted no time at all...that's two and half hours that you don't notice. while this movie might seem the best movie ever and for the years to come for an average movie fan, I don't think this comes close to great memento. it was all going fairly well until the end when nolan tried to bring in some cheap trick to this to convince the audience that this is open to interpretation by that spining totem, but the ending obviously was already concluded..he did this flawlessly with memento that we are still baffled over the ending of it, but in this case, it's just a god knows what.. would still give it a 9/10 though. this movie was entertaing its one great ride...but 5th best movie ever? that's like dream within a dream within a few more dreams

and btw, nice seeing handsome bob from rocknrolla getting some screen time here :P

Excellent Action/crime/samurai movie. Great cinematography. Indie/ low budget movie makes should take lessons from this on how to make great movies with low budgets. Forest Whitaker is excellent (as usual).

that mal's character with an accent, ruined it for me..it prolly the accent but rest of the cast was good except for her..

I think the real question of this movie is, is what cobb think is the reality in fact the reality? I think, I mean its pretty obvious at the end, he returns to what he thinks is the reality.

thats what I've been saying. The real question is: when did his dream begin ?

yeah what we think is the reality of the movie, could have been another one of cobbs dreams  and I think that is the case, and the totem kind of become a moot point because it could be another one of the projections from his memory, his mind is convinced that it's the reality and then the totem stops spinning.

i believe that dream started when he tested that drug. The totem was spinning at that time too but not too much screen time was used for it. So its possible that everything that followed was all a dream and Cobb himself became addicted to that drug.

this could happen..cobb is incepted himself, but the scene where he first meet his father musta been real for the girl with the impossible name to remember to happen. it was cobbs limbo all along..down that point, all the rest of the supporting roles were his imagination...mal's consciousness can't have played a part in that, cos if it did she must have known that cobb incepted her..but she, as well as the rest, was only a fragment of his imagination. but too many flaws and restrictions in the plot for us to form any definite idea..
