There are very good practices in Sri Lanka. First thing is the way of life. Individualism leads to selfishness. People are born to help and serve other humans not to be selfish and think about themselves every time.
Sri Lankans have lot of contacts. They enjoy company. Socializing is done to greater extent than US citizens. Sri Lankan people greatly depend on each other and they offer and receive help form others most of the time.
The social bond between children and adults are very good in Sri Lanka, except the so called "new" generation which follows US and other western countries blindly. Most of the time, old people can enjoy the company of their children and grandchildren.
We have a good society and moral values. If we fix our weaknesses of punctuality and other work-related disorders such as laziness and irresponsibility, we can be a nation with pride
