ජනතාවනී ඔබ මෙම (දුල්හජ්) මාසයත්, (අරෆා) දිනයත්, මෙම (මක්කාව) නගරයත් කොතරම් ශුද්ධත්වයෙන් සලකන්නේ ද එසේම සෑම මුස්ලීම්වරයෙකුගේම ජීවිතයත්, ධනයත්, ආත්මගරුත්වයත් ශුද්ධත්වයෙන් සලකන්න. ඔබේ භාරයේ කිසිවකුට අයත් යම් දෙයක් වේ නම් එය නියම අයිතිකරුටම නැවත භාරදෙන්න. එහි කිසිවිටෙකත් වංචනයන් සිදු නොකරන්න. එසේම කිසිවෙකු හට වේදනා නොකරන්න. එවිට කිසිවකු ඔබට වේදනා නොකරනු ඇත. සත්‍ය වශයෙන්ම ඔබගේ ස්වාමියාණන් (දෙවියන්) හමුවන බවත්, ඔහු සත්තකින්ම ඔබගේ ක්‍රියාවන් ගැන විමසන බවත්, තරයේ මතක තබා ගන්න. පොළී ලබා ගැනීම අල්ලාහුතආලා විසින් තහනම් කර ඇත. එබැවින් පොළීය හා සම්බන්ධ (එනම් පොළී ලබාගැනීම, ලබාදීම, උදව්කිරීම, සාක‍ෂිකරුවකුවීම යන) සිය`එ බැදීම් මින් මතු අත්හල යුතුයි.


ජනතාවනී ඔබගේ ස්ත්‍රීන් සම්බන්ධයෙන් ඔබට යම් යම් අයිතීන් ඇති බව සැබෑය. ඔබගේ අයිතීන් සම්බන්ධයෙන් ඔවුන් ඔබට කීකරුවෙත් නම් ඔබ විසින් ආදරයෙන් කවා, පොවා, වස්ත්‍ර සැපයීමේ අයිතිය ඔවුනට හිමිවේ. ඔබ ඔබේ ස්ත්‍රීන්ට හොදින් සලකන්න. ඔවුනට කරුණාවන්ත වන්න. ඔවුන් ඔබගේ සහකාරියන් හා පක‍ෂපාති උදව්කරුවන් වේ. ස්තී්‍රන්ට ද තම ස්වාමියා සම්බන්ධයෙන් යම් යම් අයිතීන් ඇත. එනම් තම දරුවන් රුකබලා ගැනීමත්, තම ස්වාමියා විසින් අනුමත නොකරන අය හා සම`ග ඔවුන් මිත්‍රත්වය ඇති කර නොගැනීමත්, එසේම ඔවුන් කිසිකලෙකත් පරපුරුෂ සෙවනයෙහි නොයෙදී පතිනි බව ආරක‍ෂා කරගැනීමත් ඔවුන්ගේ අයිතීන් වේ.

I would like to know the explanantion for this verse in quran? I think it degrades women and promote sexism and promote gender discrimination. I also see quran support beating women. I think all these verses do not agree with modern civilised way of life. any comments???
