SLT technitions just came to my place because i was constantly complaining my internet speed is slow.
Guess what? now they provide a usage meter for unlimited users as well. They said when reach 8GB of use they slow down a little bit (they couldn't give me a number) and reaching 10GB would slow down the speed to 24-30 kbps or 3-4kBps (even dial up speed is faster than that).
That's right now you only get 8GB, maximum 10GB without any pain for your unlimited connection.
my usage has already exceeded 8GB. Damn i think i should get a dongle.
Guys please help me, what are the best connections available? I cant pay heavy rents like more than Rs.2000.

dongles are no better. You're better off staying with SLT or going for a lankabell wimax connection

use airtel prepaid internet . i get 300kpbs download speed

45rs reload valid for one day 1.4gb everyday
25rs card - 100mb valid one week

try airtell.... i a have a 3GB limited connection for browsing and i keep a normal prepaid sim for downloads... i download about 50 movies a month and browse all te time..costs me loke 1000 rupees..... its the only way machang all unlimted connections slow down when 12GB exceeds.. so keep a sim for downloads.. 45 reload givesyou a speed of 250-320kbps internet download even while browsing.. 1.5 GB available....
if you eload daily 45*30 = 1350
i have two sims last month my usage was something ike this..
data sim - rs 600.00(3GB)
prepaid sim - 450.00(15GB)

18GB per month costs 1150.00..
umbalata hamadaama reload danna langa thanak thiyenawanam ithin prepaid eka athi... nathnam reload kade kena anduranwanam salli dheela hama daama udeta danna kiyanna....
