For me, it’s like, my wife and I already pay quite a lot in taxes (APIT and other), and our kids go to international schools, plus we use private hospitals… so yeah, it can feel a bit unfair sometimes.
But honestly, I don’t really think about it that way. Both of us went to university, and when we were kids, we went to government hospitals and used all those public services. That was all funded by taxpayers.
So now that we’re doing alright, I kind of feel like it’s our turn to give back and pay it forward
