Even for a simple issue such as extending the school hours, just like in a developed country, just see how much hostality is there..?
I think our main problem is we are not united as a country like out neighbours, the superpower India or China.. - yesterday there was a great movie advertised here about 2 NASA workers returning to India and developing their mother land as much as they could..
I beleive now the trend is forming to topple this government too before it's term.. - I beleive every country around India is f####d for the same reason.. - hunger for power..

From what I can see, none of our politicians have had any solid long-term plans to help the country generate more income.
Most of them have been doing එදා වේල tours just focusing on short-term fixes and doing whatever it takes to get into power. Once they’re there, it seems like the main concern becomes how to win the next election, and the cycle just keeps repeating. On top of that, we have people who are so blindly loyal to these political parties you can clearly see those buggers on Elakiri too.
It’s been over 60 years of the same story, and sadly, it’s the ordinary Sri Lankan people who keep suffering.
