I feel the same way. Before this World Cup, I supported Messi over Ronaldo. However, after the treatment they gave to Özil in 2018, I could no longer support Germany. Then, Argentina was my favourite because of Messi. But since the beginning of this World Cup, it has been a setup in Argentina's favour in every match. I started to support Norway then and any team that is playing against Argentina.

Pessi deserves this defeat, as he was Gianni Infantino's and FIFA's favourite. It hurts more when you cheat and lose in the final.

I've read, FIFA wanted Messi's Argentina to stay in the tournament, due to financial reasons. For an example after R7's Portugal exit, many of his fans lost interest on the tournament. This means low advertising revenue.
