no one needs to promise anything to individual groups.. this is the problem we have in Sri Lanka and other Asian countries. no one cheated monks it is the people that voted for their leader in a democratic method.monks are always not happy with whatever the society decides, they are also divided most of the time.
what about 2026? the president even made promises to terrorist groups to get votes. monks are not even in the picture in 2026. catholic priests, hundu and muslim religious leaders are directly involved with the government. so what do you think about the current political situation in sri lanka?
