They call to referees here an dthere machna...not everyone not every applicant. they hav called to all my referees but not a single call to my friend who has applied on the same time as me. Lots of people try to submit forged documents, fake ielts results...etc so I believe they are alert on it...- mmahanama1

register yourself as a business and get an ABN number. develop a website for u under your registered business name for graphic desinging, web development and stuff like that and u will generate enquiries from customers if u market yourself properly :)- mmahanama1

if u come as a student u will have to pay butload of money for the phd...best option is write to some universities and try to grab a scholarship...or even if u try to apply for pr from sri lanka, its easier. Coz if u hav oz pr u can do any phd in any university for free...get ur pr first if...- mmahanama1

u can buy a subaru outback 2006 for 3000 bucks....mazda 3 2005, toyota 212 2005, practically any vehicle u can see in srilanka for 20-30lacks...but mileage is little high, like 200,000...still they are in great condition- mmahanama1
