    hmm thats odd. Its impossible for another website to get a cookie of another website unless one web site sets a cookie on behalf of the other. Cookies have been around for long time and I do think they have a considerable amount of safety. Your friend might have added a keylogger of some sort...

    Cookies are encrypted to the domain. When a cookie is set on this forum the cookie can only been read on www.elekiri.com. Otherwise people wouldn't store passwords in cookies now would they? Whoever told you that is a great day idiot :lol:

    Who knows! SLT might consider blocking all the proxy's or even worse a hi-tech content block (compares the incoming data with the tamilnet website and if it match's it gets blocked). But then again I can make a server side PHP send the data encrypted and then I'll make another client side...

    I think this is probably a temporary DNS issue rather than a block.. if it was they would have blocked the server IP which would knock off all access to the site no matter the domain name. And there are things called server sides proxy's. I'd think Sri Lankan's a smart enough to understand that...

    GTRZ, I have the same thing and yea it has no connection to the Serial Circuit Board. Also you may not know that the S650B does not have surge protection (that is protection from lightning surges and stuff) so its a risky UPS to run a PC on. But its a heavy duty UPS and can last a few years due...
