    I just meant setting up a proper work space at home vs going to a coffee shop for the atmosphere actually. No they never gave free wifi although free wifi is available for customers at some restaurants but that's not sufficient for office work.

That was the norm some 15 years ago, didn't know it still exists. lol You go to a posh coffee shop somewhere in Colombo 7, and sit at a corner, and do your stuff. But order something, and after 30 mins or something a waiter will give you a menu again...
