    Please correct me if I am wrong.. Thanks. 1. Basically, a hatchback is a car without a boot. It's smaller in dimensions than a sedan (or family car). 2. Because it's got a low powered engine, it's small in dimensions [please note: this is the misconception I had about this category of cars]. :(
