Many are concerned with Ajino-moto and cancer. I don;t think there's a proven relationship at all. But some people react to it and can have headaches, flushing, sweating, rapid heart rates etc. It could have an effect on BP though.
With long term Ajino-moto users have no major issues. Some say it has effects on the brain neuro-transmitters. Many in SL wouldn't have to worry about that.
