Strength of a country is usually demonstrated to world by Independance Day (military power) ... Gaming activities organizing such as World cup matches, olympics, commonwealth....bla bla bla... and international meetings and summits (Ex: CHOGM) and even how president travels.

But we are soo cheap that we didn't even have a blasting Independance day, and president is too pathetic he don't spend money on where it should be spent.

Does anybody care to organize a blasting welcome when President of Somalia visit. How if president of USA visit?

This kind of recognition earned by Maithripala himself and that is how world see us now..

We are still a developing country, and apparently it doesn't matter if we don't show off with the scroundels trying to spend the Rich's money, this is true democracy, and it should prevail like this, Until we can show the world that Sri Lanka is an Independent nation free of debt and are of wealthy citizens, There are thousands of people who are not capable of providing an proper meal for there family, and you are aggravated that we did not celebrate by thrashing public funds.
