That picture was the reason Tiran's house was burnt down. I don't know if you remember or not. When Tiran was in CID custody and appearing before the courts to get himself released, his house was broken into. They were looking for evidence of the Basil and Emil's transaction that took place in Tiran's office. Nothing was stolen then. Do you still claim Tiran is a liar?

Mahinda got only 7 (seven) votes more than Sarath Fonseka.
Source: neighbour Retired civil engineer who's a friend of that deputy of the counting centre. It seems he was flabbergasted to hear the broadcasted result.
