අර පෙනෙන කුඩාම තිත දෙස බලන්න

ලොව මෙතෙක් බිහි වූ විශිෂ්ටතම ඡායාරුපයක් සහ ඒ වෙනුවෙන් ලියැවුණු පුරකයයි මේ.

මෙම ඡායාරුපය 1990 දී වොයජර් යානය මගින් ගනු ලැබුවක්. කිලෝමීටර බිලියන 6 ක් දුර සිට අප ග්‍රහලෝකය දෙස බලන කෙනෙක්ට එය දිස් වෙන ආකාරය එමගින් පෙන්නුම් කරනවා. සෞරග්‍රහ මණ්ඩලය තුල ඉතා කුඩා නිල් පැහැති තිතක් මෙන් දිස් වන එම ඡායාරුපය ප්‍රචලිත වන්නේ Pale Blue Dot නමින්. එම ඡායාරූපයට වශී වුන කාල් සේගන් නම් ප්‍රකට විද්‍යාඥයා පහත වැකි පෙළ ඒ වෙනුවෙන් ලියා තිබුනා. එම වැකි පෙළ ලෝ වැසියන් ලෙස අපට සිතන්නට බොහෝ දේ පෙන්වා දෙනවා.

දඩයක්කරුවත් – මංකොල්ලකරුවත් දෙන්නම ඉන්නේ ඒකෙ. විරයත් – බයගුල්ලත් ඉන්නේ ඒකෙ. ශිෂ්ටාචාරය හදන්නෙත් ඒකෙ – විනාශ කරන්නෙත් ඒකෙ. රජවරු, වහල්ලු, මව් වරු, පියවරු, ගුරුවරු, සංචාරකයෝ, ප්‍රේමයෙන් වෙලුණු තරුණ ජෝඩු, බලාපොරොත්තු පිරුණු දරු පැටවු, දුෂිත දේශපාලකයෝ, සුපර් ස්ටාර් ලා, එකාධිපතියෝ, ශාන්තුවරු, පවුකාරයෝ ඔක්කොම ඉන්නේ අර පේන පුංචිම පුංචි තිත ඇතුලේ.
අපේ පෘථිවිය කියන්නේ විශ්වය ඇතුලේ බොහොම පුංචි තිතක්. නමුත් හිතන්න මේ මොහොතේත් ඒ තිත ඇතුලේ එක කොනක පදිංචි පිරිසක්ව තවත් කොනක පදිංචි පිරිසක් විසින් ආක්‍රමණය කරමින් ඉන්නවා. මේ පුංචි තිත ඇතුලේ ඒ මායිම් ලකුණු කරන්නවත් බැරි වුනාට ඒ දෙගොල්ලන්ගේ සිත් ඇතුලේ තියන තරහව, ක්‍රෝධය කොච්චර විශාල ඇත්ද? උන් උන්ව මරාගන්න උන්ට කොච්චර වුවමනාවක් තියනවා ඇත්ද? ඒ වෙනුවෙන් කොච්චර ලේ හැලෙනවා ඇත්ද? අර ඇහැට යාන්තන් පේන තිත බෙදා ගන්න බැරුව?

Dr Carl Sagan - The Pale Blue Dot - many interesting books and a excellent presenter.
Sadly he passed away too soon in 1996 at the age of 62. He had a rare bone marrow disesase that finally led to his death.
