The fifth Test between South Africa and England was played in 1939 in Durban for nine days. Needing 696 for a win in the fourth innings, England were 654 for 5. The English team had to catch their ship hence didn't go for the target. Nine days, and no result!

3. Gordon Greenidge එකම ක්රීඩකයා retired not out උණු ..-Gordon Greenidge is the only cricketer to remain retired not out in international cricket.
In the 1983 Barbados Test against India, Gordon Greenidge retired out on 154 to rush home to visit his ailing daughter. Two days later his daughter died and it was unanimously decided that Greenidge should be made retired not out. This is the only such instance in international cricket.
3. Allan Border was the only cricketer to score 150 in each innings of a Test match
Allan Border scored 150 not out and 153 against Pakistan in the 1980 Lahore Test. This remains the only instance in Test cricket where a batsman has hit 150 in each innings

Mark Craig hit his first ball of Test cricket for a six off Suleiman Benn over long-off in the 2014 Jamaica Test. This is the only instance in Test cricket

6. Irfan Pathan is the only bowler to pick up a hat-trick in the first over of a Test match.
Pathan became the second Indian to take a hattrick in Test cricket when he achieved this feat against Pakistan at National Stadium, Karachi in 2006. This is the only hattrick recorded in the first over of the Test match.

Shaminda Eranga dismissed Gautam Gambhir in his first over on his T20 International debut. He dismissed Brad Haddin on his debut ODI debut again in his first over. In Tests Australian Shane Watson was dismissed in Eranga's first ever over.
