the issue in this country is that people who earn a lot do not pay taxes. They smuggle, The manipulate accounts. and in order to meet the xpenses government has to tax. What actually should do is to track those who are not paying due tax and make them t pay rather than increasing tax on everybody.

Most of the Muslim businessmen do not pay any tax.

why specially muslims ? i think most sinhala,tamil billionaires are doing the same..

Percentagewise its a fact. More muslims are not paying taxes as a percentage than Sinhalease and Tamils.
