Simple rule of forming a sentence
( සෙන්ටේන්ස් ගොඩනගා ගන්නා සරල නිතිය)
Subject + verb
*A person who performs the action of verb is called “subject”
* Verb is a particular action which is doing by someone else.
* Look at the following example
(1) I eat
According to the above example the subject is “I” and the verb is “eat”.


An introduction of tenses
Tense
This is initial requirement of any language when we exchanging or ideas (communicate) with each other.

ප්‍රධාන වශයෙන් කාල වර්ග 03 හදුනාගන්න පුලුවන්. ඒවා නම්
01. present tense
02. Past tense
03. Future tense

දැන් අපි බලමු Present tense කියන්නේ මොකක්ද කියලා.
වර්තමානයේ යම් කෙනෙකු කරනු ලබන ක්‍රියාවක්ගැන සදහන් කිරිමට මේම කාලය භාවිතා කෙරේ.මේය කොටස් 03 කට බෙදා දක්වන්න පුලුවන්.

දැන් මා ඔබට කියාදෙන්න හදන්නේ simple present tense හෙවත් සරල වර්තමාන කාලයයි.
සරල වර්තමාන කාලය කියන්නේ වර්තමානයේ සිදුවන යමක් ගැනප්‍රකාශ කිරිමට ඇති සරලම ක්‍රමය මේයයි. මේහිදි ඉහත අපි කතාකල සරල නිතිය subject+ verb යොදා ගත හැක.
