මචන් උබලට internationally පිළිගන්න cEng කෙනෙක් වෙන්න ඕනෙනම් ඔය ලංකාවේ වගේ "අපි තමා පොර" කියාගන්න නමුත් ලෝකේ එතරම් පිළිගැනීමක් නැති ආයතන පස්සේ යන්න එපා. එහෙම ඕනෙනම් Engineering Council in the UK වගේ එකකින් (by royal charter ) cEng කෙනෙක් වෙන්න ඕනෙ. UK Engineering Council එක ලංකාවේ කිසිම Uni එකක Eng උපාදියක් කෙලින්ම පිළිගන්නේ නෑ (no accredited ), නියම තත්වයට නෑ කියලා ( අපි හිතුවට ඔන්න ඕකයි තත්වය). එක ගන්න උපාදියට අමතරව නිබන්දන ලියනවා වගේ ලොකු වටේ යෑමක් තියනවා. accredited degree එකක් තියනවනම් පොඩි interview එකකින් පස්සේ ගන්න පුළුවන්.

Both Moratuwa and Peradeniya Degrees are accredited by EC(UK)
In addition, for Engineering Degrees accreditation is given according to washington accord. Its the accepted standard. All Degrees accepted by IESL are accepted by Washington accord as they are the authorised party in Sri Lanka TO accredit qualifications.
There were strike in Pera few months back on compulsory attendance as IESL has forced them to make it happen. If they do not comply they will not get the charter.
