:baffled: තේරුනෙ නෑ , භාවනා කරල හිත දියුණු කරල අනාගතේ බලලද කියන්නේ :oo:

200m need more stamina compared to 100m. UB relies on speed rather than stamina. The other difference is the distance of-course, which is obvious. In terms of a mindset, the 100m runner has to focus on speed consistently for the duration of the course where as for the 200m, the runner has to be able to negotiate the curve on the track and then boom. Storing energy for the last 100m in a 200m is crucial. UB won the 100m because he has a great speed, but will lose 200m because he don't have a great stamina.

you are talking about a professional athlete who owns the 200m world record, 2 Olympic golds and 4 world championship golds. how come all these achievements possible if he don't have stamina to run 200 meters

Usain Bolt is about to retire soon. Also he suffered from an injury recently. He once lost 100m to Justin Gatlin. He can most probably lose this time since 200m can put him under more pressure. i.e There is a bend in the 200m track.

It's not the first time he is running in a track with a bend :D they are professionals and know how to handle bends.

yes he once lost to Gatling, but he won against him many times. including last world championship and 100m event in this Olympic. If you saw the race It's Gatlin who doesn't have the stamina to maintain his speed until the end. Bolt gain more speed with the distance, which make its harder to beat him in 200m. In the last world championship Bolt just won the Gold by 0.01s margin in 100m, BUt when it's 200m, gap between them increased to 0.19s. more distance - harder to beat

200m does not want that much stamina mate. Actually 200m is much easier than 100m for bolt as he can rectify any mistake he could commit at the start, but 100m one single mistake in the start could change the whole game.
