in SL, we hardly get to hear about domestic violence related things and as I believe, a female gets an almost equal respect a man is receiving in sl. A female can even recieve more than that, and that respect is not determined by the gender but what role you are playing in the society.

There are some countries and cultures with much more worse situations such as fathers killing their young daughters for falling in love with some guy who belongs to another race or a religious group, etc.
