There's two sides to this story..

I believe porn industry and prostitution were supported by the governments, in developed countries for a reason...

No porn/ prostitution = increase in sex crimes..?

Decrease in sex crimes = Porn/ prostitution..?

SL I believe has more sex crimes, compared to Aus, with somewhat similar population..

What are the reasons, you guys can think of..?

low self control. Self awareness. (due to genetical or nutritional factors). Weaker law and order. IMO
PS: But REPORTED sex crimes are Higher in Australia than Sri Lanka and higher STD too So things are blurry

I believe there's less "jack scenes" in Trains in SL, than buses, due to space..

Aus with 20 million vehicles, certainly help women in that regard..

On a different note, even the Facebook blanket ban is quite controversial..

Just reminds me of examples from past about bulk killing a certain plant or animal and finding a big jump in some unexpected issue..

Yeah, regarding the jack scene, no matter whether someone is Sri Lankan, Japanese, or white, if they get the opportunity, they will do it. Sri Lankan system creates those opportunities through crowded, low-quality transport. Its similar to Japanese transport during peak hours (crowded). Japan has the "chikan" problem, just like we have the jack problem.
