The only Virgil I have heard of is the Great Roman Poet, who is well known for three major works - the Bucolics (or Eclogues), the Georgics, and the Aeneid.
His Aeneid is Rome's national epic. Virgil died around 19 BC, before the Aeneid was completed and his death was due to a heat stroke.
