Living in Quebec my point of view on this topic is necessarily affected by the French-English divide. Even the English minority here considers itself culturally different than others in Canada. By far the insidious racism is the darkest aspect of living here. Canadians are superficially nice to brown and black skinned people. Scratch the surface and the story is different.
I once shared a taxi with a young woman, born in Canada, of Sri Lankan heritage. The metro was shut down (again) and we were heading in the same direction. She told me with the broadest smile that she had just obtained her qualifications as a dental assistant and was on her way to an interview. She also proudly told me she was tops in her class. As we spoke, and I told her that I worked for a Jewish organization as the Director of Community Relations, and described my work on issues of racism, discrimination and, of course, antisemitism, she shyly told me she was on her way to her 55th interview. I was shocked but this amazing young girl refused to be defeated. She told me she had no trouble getting interviews but when she walked through the door the attitude changed.
I asked a dentist friend how this could be. She told me bluntly that dentistry was rampant with prejudice, and even when the dentist was not racist, patients regularly refused to be touched by non-whites! I have never forgotten this young woman. This is a fact of life here, never verbalized, always denied.
The result is that we live in silos, cultural ghettos, where ethnic and racial communities must rely on their own communities. Depending on the wave of immigration you fall into, resources are plentiful or scant.
We often promote Canada as a “mosaic”, as opposed to the U.S. which is a melting pot. But, gradually, I am coming to the realization that the spaces between the tiles are getting larger. And this is tragic.

The weather is terrible, it’s boring, the people are passive-aggressive, often irritable and cranky, just like the bad weather, it’s bland, passionless, repressed, generic English-speaking nation. It’s just like a McDonalds or some chain restaurant, nothing special or interesting. It also has no culture or identity, since it allowed everyone in, especially from one area of the world, it has become a land of everybody for nobody. If I could use an analogy, Canada is a house but not a home. It has some really leftist, almost communist-liberal ideas, economically, politically and socially. I use the word liberal but that is very different than liberty. Liberal to the idealogical extreme of alienating pretty much any normal person - but then again, most people who come here are not normal. You have to be a little wrong in the head to live in Canada. This tends to sabotage progress and contribute to the aforementioned deficiencies. Lack of choice, high cost of living, high taxes while not really receiving much for it. In other words, a raw deal.

There are educated ppl living in vancuover for example, who owns their own comfortable houses.
While Indians like Punjabis and Begalis get crowded into so called areas or gettos.. they live a hard live work8ng as taxi drivers and cleaner
These ppl migrated sometimes back have no educated qualifications or has very poor English and PR Skills

Canada is a extremely large diverse country bro. Diaspora s active only in certain provices.
There are areas in canada like in the Northern Territories without a single Indian family. The country is so large and population is widespread.
In certain areas You can drive for days without seeing a single person on the road. So empty.
Each province has uts own government, languages and rules
For example In Qubec they mainly speak French and not English. There are areas that speak aboriginal languages.
Tamils are concentrated on Montreal (Qubec) and Toronto (Ontario)..
in other provinces you will not even meet them for life time.
Don't compare this to a country like sri lanka or even Australia where population in concentrated.
Canada is 152 times larger than Sri lanka !
If you are speaking about UNHRC, that's a political move by west to stop SL leaning towards China
