I don't believe suicide is an option, bro. I think the first thing to do is improve such a patient's mental health.Then planning small changes to recover, training prosthetics, etc. There are tons of workarounds. Even an amputee can obtain a driver's license. You just need small modifications to a vehicle, such as hand-operated brakes, etc. So plan those things with the patient.
