There were great rishis who could realy predict by advancing the consciousness. Like those who predicted gautama will become a buddha.Those rishis wrote down knowledge on books later became nadi astrology.agasthya etc.Those can be very accurate because these are not planet based astrology.But the accuracy of it now a days are questionable.Buddha didn't reject astrology hence he said what can stars can do if my mind is controlled by me not by planets.It means the more conscious you are the more you are not influenced by any external forces.
