Fox 40 reported. The eyewitness claimed that the teenage fighter Mohammed al-Bibi,
“He did it in front of me. I saw it in front of me.”
Ali Jaghdoun, the driver of the ambulance in which Gaddafi was placed, maintains Gaddafi was dead when he was put into the ambulance. He said
"I didn't try to revive him because he was already dead.”
Yet the NTC continue to claim that Gaddafi was “shot in the head when he was caught ‘in crossfire’ between his supporters and new regime fighters soon after his capture,
Alarabiya reports. Libya's chief pathologist, Dr. Othman al-Zintani, reported on Sunday that Gaddafi was killed by a shot to the head, following Gaddafi’s autopsy. The NTC has made repeated, often disregarded calls, for fighters not to enact vengeance against their former foes. It is in their interests to have their account of Gaddafi’s death hold firm even if the footage indicates that Gaddafi met his fate at the hands of an animalistic mob bent on revenge.
