Buddy don't waste your productive time on these, the moment i saw this realized how stupid this video is, if someone knows the very basics of a jet engine and respected the working principles this won't exist, its always better to do a video to say, how does jet engine work, its better I guess.First of all it's mounting itself will be a headache. Then the ice formation will be a bigger headache. The bird will be chopped by the grill and still get inside the engine and will get really "Grilled".
Reduced air intake will not be a major issue. Only fighter aircraft jet engines take in the full air available. Commercial jet engines should work fine.
The other major issue is it will disrupt the laminar airflow into the engine which might cause vibration and other bad effects on the engine and the rotors.
Obviously if this is of any benefit, commercial aviation has a long history and someone would have designed a grill. Possibly no point even talking about it.
