That is the exact issue. If you say is true if everyone believe what govt says they would have followed protocols. When govt says wear the mask in public people did not believe. When govt said do not go on trips snd avoid public gathering people have spent their time in Nuwera Eliya. People in this country never believe the govt. You can see in this thread also. People will not believe even WHO said. WHO given approval for Chinese vaccine. People criticising Chinese vaccine in this thread. People are not believing either govt or WHO.

People don't believe what the government says is because for decades, the 2 major parties have lied to the people continuously.

This government is also the same as all the government's before. Because all the same people always gets rotated to the government. To preserve power & hide the curroption, lying has become like breathing to them.
