Do not blame China. Blame 6.9 M and people who misled them then and even now.
Chnina did not force us to get loans we went to them as they gave loans without considering rate of return.
Blame persons in CB including present Gov for not bringing this to notice of masses in time and not raising Red Flag! (they are being paid heavily for that)
Blame others such as Dr. PBJ, Cabral etc for misleading public and taking us down the hill telling and showing we are climbing!!
Blame AKD, Tilvin, JVP , Vasu, Wimal etc who did not allow any good reforms that govt took in last two decades in Education, Health, Govt Service, CEB, CPC, and simply in any govt institution but filled them with supporters to get votes( remember the govt who stopped govt recruitments were sent home unceremoniously in 2004 by removal of plug!
After all this is our country and we wasted loan money for unproductive projects so can we blame China?
When a Company is Bankrupt you cannot blame Banks for financing unproductive investments as banks will also suffer invariably.
When we defaulted China cant do anything other than imposing penal interest and calling for entire loan which they are going to do. But unlike banks there are no securities so China needs to absorb Risk fully. So that is why they give more loans to settle their debt, but not for expenditure !!
