Dunno man!
They've been doing this shit for years, thats why we ran into this inflation crap in the first place.
86% of the whole income of the government is spent on salaries of government workers. A considerable chunk of the rest is wasted on corruption and mismanagement.

They take loans to settle foreign deals and print money to pay salaries and other free giveaway stuff like pensions, samurdhis and mahapola.
