you have to understand that Im not 100% agreeing with you. Buddhas knowledge was astonishing( even thought he inherited most of them from already existed eastern knowledge). But his knowledge was not perfect by any means... just astonishing compared to contemporary philosophers.

Jesus thought everything happens because of so-called god, buddha thought everything is a circle. so he explains everything accordingly.

his teachings arent perfectly compatible with modern knowledge.
he couldve done more to make future generations make him believe. but he didnt, that makes it bit suspicious about the authenticity of his teaching.

So it forcus on the path that eliminte the said sufferring through 'noble eight fold path'.In other words ,samatha and Vipassana meditaion.
If somebody is interested in obtaining more spiritual tools ( from mindfulness,jhaana all the way down to abhinna ( dibba chakku, dhibba sotha..etc) he can spend more time with samatha meditaion to get those.Unlike mindfulnes or jhaana, the way to abigngnaa is somewhat hard.

ඒ කියන්නේ අවිනිශ්චිත ලෙස පරිණාමය වීම. ලෝකයේ ඇති දේවල් වෙනස් වී නැති වී යන්නේ අපි නොසිතන ලෙස හා අවිනිශ්චිත ලෙසයි. බාහිර ලෝකයේ ඇති දේවල් වෙනස් වෙලා විපරිණාමය වන ආකාරයත් බුදුදාමුදුරුවෝ දේශනා කරා.

His focus was not to make others blindly believe in him. But to understand his teachings. Understanding his teachings is all based on the intelligence of other people. What Buddha does is just give the instructions on how to understand the Dhamma and attain nibbana.
