"ඔහුට (සරත් ෆොන්සේකාට) සමාව දිය යුතුයි කියා මම කොහෙත් ම කියන්නේ නැහැ. ඔහුට සමාව දෙනවා නම් හිරගෙවල්වල සිටින සෙසු පිරිසටත් සමාව දිය යුතුයි. අනෙක ඔහු අද හිර ගෙදර සිටින්නේ වංචාවක් කරලයි. මුදල් රෙගුලාසි උල්ලංඝනය කරමින් ටෙන්ඩර් පරිපාටියට බැහැරව තම බලතල අනිසි ලෙස භාවිතා කරමින් ඔහු සිදුකර තිබෙන්නේ මහා මූල්ය වංචාවක්. මූල්ය වංචාවක් කළ කොයි පුද්ගලයාට ද අද සමාව ලැබිල තියෙන්නේ. සමාව දිය හැකි වැරැදි තිබෙනවා. එහෙත් සරත් ෆොන්සේකා සිදුකර ඇති වරද සමාව දිය හැකි වරදක් නෙවෙයි."

ලංකාවේ සමාව දිය හැකි වැරදි අතරින් එකක් වන්නේ ජනාධිපති ඝාතනයට කුමන්ත්රණ කිරීමයි [The CID informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate that they are terminating investigations into the case where it was alleged that a suspect connived with former UNP Parliamentarian Johnston Fernando to assassinate President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
The CID said they are terminating investigations on the advice of the Attorney General and sought a date to file the report. The Magistrate allowed the application of the CID-http://www.dailymirror.lk/index.php/news/5890-cid-terminates-probe.html ]
