It's not possible to restrict YouTube based on video quality. Dialog simply limits YouTube bandwidth to 1.5mbps... I know how it works. This is just to stop people from consuming high bandwidth when connected to a tower... Even 480p and 720p (30fps) will work fine. But YouTube will automatically revert back to 240 or 360p due to speed limit.

Not really bro i checked it out. torrents get over 2.8Mpbs where as youtube downloads are only 150Kbps. even if u switch to 720p or higer than 360p it will start consume normal data if u have in ur account or it will deduct credits

Yeah, that's what I also say. 1.5mbps is roughly 150 to 180KB/s. There are no other restrictions placed. Even if you stream with 720p, it will buffer a bit, but data won't get deducted.

    My usual mobile 4G speed ranges from 40mbps to 60mbps (5MB/s to 6MB/s), for YouTube it's 1.2mbps to 1.5mbps (150KB/s to 180KB/s)
