මම phd එකක් කරන්න අදහසක් නෑ මම industry join වෙන්න හිතන් ඉන්න නිසා. General degree එක කරලා කෙලින්ම masters කරන්නයි හිතන් ඉන්නෙ ලංකාවෙම. ඊටපස්සෙ mba එකක් කරලා permanent ssettle වෙන්න තමයි ඇත්තටම canada එන්න හිතුවෙ PR අරගෙන. මට දැනගන්න ඕනෙ මම මේ ගත්ත decision වල අඩුපාඩු තියෙනවාද කියලා. Very good decision to go to industry. You don't need to do a masters in Chemistry to join industry, Well it could be helpful but if you wanna be a senior manager I think it is better to do a MBA. Industry experience is the key. If you are joining a drug company like Pfizer, GSK, Celgene, AstraZeneca, yes Analytical Chemistry education is important, and it is more important to get experience in the industry, because academic and industry cultures are completely different. At least do some volunteer work for a company to get the feel for it, how to deal with clients, customers etc.. That could come in handy some day, you could show that you have gone out of the way to get that industry experience. Also talk with a senior lecturer who you could trust and ask for career guidance. (Also look into if Canada has that many industries )
