This is not illegal,, We can use any satellite in our country. there is no any restriction in this matter. Videocon, Airtel & Sundirect providing a out of country stb also. so they know this matter already.

Service providers offering equipment does not mean it is illegal. Then they should offer recharging for sri lankans too..

And also why does DishTV need to operate a separate Sri Lankan offering and invest in infrastructure(broadcasting station too) if their Indian product is legal to use in Sri Lanka? They could just sell the Indian product.

Anyway I'll contact the TRC and let you know the truth.
