I can understand what are u thinking but you can't be rational without any external impact ,when you born u ain't smart much so when u grow up. you learn from the society, you learn from the college, school and obviously each day you learn something new. so based on that you adjust your notion. that's the nature of humans. as an example most of eastern Asian countries are secular now. but they used to have some philosophy based on that they build their own notion. without a foundation rest of the all parts would be fallen down. that foundation is made by a philosophy.
philosophy and a religion are two different things. I made by my own notion based on the Buddhism philosophy.
whatever. you obviously have a greek-latin based physlophy deep in your mind mixed with European renaissance notions. the rest of all values you've gathered from the societies you lived and currently live.

Greek Latin philosophy is the foundation philosophy to all European cultures.
the English alphabet is called Latin alphabet originally. in ancient days
in North Europe there wasn't a proper civilization even the vikings used to be barbarians. (if you have learned anything about Anglo-Saxons you might surely know about vikings and their invasions in English soil. ) only greek and rome had a civilization, Romans used Latin ,Greeks used Greeks languages.
it's a very interesting history I can continue this for hours but I am a bit tired of chit chats. European history begins with the greek and the roman civilizations.
later greek was invaded by the romans. so the greek culture was mixed up with the roman culture. when the Christianity introduces to the Rome. Roman had a faith on Paganism gods. but since Paganism had many gods and the Christianity has one god the one of Roman emperors decided to give up the Paganism and convert the entire Empire to Christianity cause he saw the advantage of an one god, you don't want to worship many gods then. so that's how Christianity begins to expand over entire Europe with the Roman invasions. it was much before the Islam. Christianity and Judaism, Islam all based on the same core philosophy. so when the time passes North Europeans made their civilizations based on the Roman culture they also mixed up Latin alphabet with their native language and made their own languages. so German, French, English, all originated from the Latin. also North Europeans added the cultural values, philosophies, religions into their civilizations so that's how Europeans made their notions but later made their own notions based on that. so anyone who practices the western way practice the greek-latin philosophy somewhat but not much cause it was changed after the European renaissance began in the Italy.
but still most of eurpeans and the American culture based on the greek-latin philosophy, their language, alphabet. if you are a lawyer you know that's the reason lawyer still needs to learn Latin cause that way was started from the Rome and the Roman used Latin.
