ශ‍්‍රී ලාංකික මරක්කලයන් ද අද (12) නබි නායක ගේ උපන්දිනය සමරනවා.

රාජ්‍ය උත්සවය බදුල්ලේ දී පැවැත්වෙන බවයි මුස්ලිම් ආගමික කටයුතු අමාත්‍ය ඒ. එච්. එම්. හලීම් කියා සිටියේ.

එම අවස්ථාවට අග්‍රාමාත්‍යවරයා ඇතුළු මැති ඇමතිවරුන් සහභාගීවීමට නියමිත බවයි අමාත්‍යවරයා වැඩිදුරටත් පැවසුවේ.

මේ අතර නිවේදනයක් නිකුත් කරමින් ජනාධිපති මෛත‍්‍රීපාල සිරිසේන මහතා පවසන්නේ ශුද්ධ වූ නබි නායක තුමන්ගේ ජන්ම දිනය සමරන අද දිනයේ දී උන්වහන්සේගේ ඉගැන්වීම් ජීවිත තුළ පුහුණු කිරීමට ද අදිටන් කරගත යුතු බවයි.

මිනිසෙකු තවත් මිනිසෙකුට වඩා උසස් යැයි සිතීම මෙන්ම මිනිසුන් අතර ඇති වෛරය ද හෙලා දකින බව ශුද්ධ වූ නබි නායක තුමන් උගන්වා ඇතැයි ද එම නිවේදනයේ දැක්වෙනවා.

අග‍්‍රාමාත්‍ය රනිල් වික‍්‍රමසිංහ මහතා පවසන්නේ ශුද්ධ වූ නබි නායක තුමන්ගේ ඉගැන්වීම් සහෝදරත්වය, සමානාත්මතාව සහ පරිත්‍යාගශීලිත්වය පදනම් කරගත් එකක් බවයි.

එම ජීවන මාර්ගය ප‍්‍රජාතන්ත‍්‍රික පාලන ක‍්‍රමයකට ද පදනම සකසන බව අග‍්‍රාමාත්‍යවරයා සිහිපත් කරනවා.

SLAVERY

Quran 2.178: "O you who believe! retaliation is prescribed for you in the matter of the slain, the free for the free, and the slave for the slave, and the female for the female, but if any remission is made to any one by his (aggrieved) brother, then prosecution (for the bloodwit) should be made according to usage, and payment should be made to him in a good manner; this is an alleviation from your Lord and a mercy; so whoever exceeds the limit after this he shall have a painful chastisement."

But whoso forgoeth it (in the way of charity) it shall be expiation for him. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath revealed such as wrong-doers."

Quran 8.12: "Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will instill terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."
