I was not trying to be a smart ass! I was just trying to emphasize the correct terms. The age of a child ranges from birth to 18. LOL according to this where do you put teenagers then? After 30+? Furthermore, not everything has to be technically correct in this world

The United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child defines child as, "A human being below the age of 18 years unless under the law applicable to the child, majority is attained earlier.”

There are no two terms, the correct term is child lock when it comes to vehicles, and that's what I have been trying to say from the beginning.
