the other day i was reading some Au reviews on land rover discovery as i was comparing it with prado. there were some comments which said when you go outback its always better to go in a cruiser than a discovery because of the reliability specially considering the risk of getting stuck in remote places (discovery though has very good reviews).

on the prado diesel models, lots of comments by Aus reviewers say the d4d engine post 2007 models are much better.
