So lets see a thought comes because of hunger that now i need to kill this animal and eat to ease the hunger.what are the mental factors that goes with the thought which produce negative karmic results?

Although killing an animal seems like a simple step, it involves several steps with series of thoughts like:

    1. I want to kill that animal
    2. This is how I am gonna kill
    3. Finding tools
    4. Reaching the target
    5. actually killing it

There are many more steps involved in between too. Unwholesome factors like greed, anger (and there are more.. cant remember all) are involved in many of these steps.

Hmm what if someone complets the above 5 actions without any factor like greed, anger etc.Without a single such emotion like a zombie.what will be the result?

I dont think a conscious person can do them without triggering those factors. But, in a hypothetical case as you said, there shouldnt be any negative effect if you do not go through them.

Hmm i have heard that completion of those 5 actions would complete the killing karma.Wonder what happen if there is no emotion involved at all.Samanthabadra said rahathekta sil ne.so does this theory applies? If you are completly consiouss of what you are doing the negative karmic results are minimal to none?:baffled:

    1. Only way not to have these emotions is not having the intention at first like killing a living being unintentionally (by mistake).
    2. Arihats mind do not go though any of these unwholesome factors. Thats why they dont need to maintain a special sil.
    3. Thats why 5 percepts (pansil) are there to help reducing going though those factors for some extent. But, if someone understands this process of mental factors, they can do a better job.

He woudnt give up if he can survive without harming the robber. Arihats are not characters like zombies. They have feelings and make decisions like others, but the difference is how their mental factors work.

It is not he is not trying to. A harming thought will not proceed through his factors. He doesnt have to stop it intentionally like what we do.
