There ARE flights that require a passenger to remove shoes before embarkation, for security reasons.
Enlighten me on them please. In the arshikland you need to do it for all the fucking flights. And not needed in the reverse direction. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also, this is required when you enter the airport, not the air plane.

    South korea
LMFAO. Yeah right. In your dreams. May be you can try for North Korea. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm talking about things that can be used as tiny weapons. There were flights, especially where following highjackings and terror attacks, passengers had to do that. All passengers had to submit themselves to those security guidelines. They even prevented some carrying small items such as perfume spray bottles which they thought could be used to disrupt the flight. Many passengers were aware of the rules beforehand and didn't bring them. It's the airline's security, not necessarily the airport's. You can't argue. :D
    Google will have some flights.

Enlighten me mate. I couldn't find something related to shoes. I know direct flights to the US require extra checks. But the shoe removal is not necessarily going to happen in this case. But, it could. Ref - https://www.tsa.gov/news/press/rele...ity-protocols-travelers-departing-us-airports
However, there are no direct flights to the US from the arshikland afaik.
And the shoes go through the security scanning with the person who is wearing it. It doesn't necessarily need to go through stuff like the belt and wallet. If there are no metal stuff in shoes, it should be just fine to wear it.

For all concerned, I paste a link regarding flight security.

It doesn't mean that all flights follow this. But flights do usually copy what fellow airlines do.

No point in arguing with Security chum. Look at the number of people arrested who (try to) smuggle various stuff AFTER passing the first checkpoint. Many of them are spotted from their mannerism and the way they walk to the exit. And also, do you know you can kill with a newspaper?

These are TSA checks for flights in and out of the US. We are talking about the flights in and out of the arshikland. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Did you know that you don't need this much sophisticated things if you just want to kill?
You can just use some kind of poison easily. You can transport them as toiletries quite easily. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also, you are talking about an airline. Checks in arshikland are carried out when you enter the airport, not specific flight gate.
From my experience TSA checks are done only in special gates. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It was an example that I sent, but those are the type of measures they adopt for security on and off. Before 2020 I think all airlines leaving SL had to do this. At that time they were doing it all over the world, not only in Sri Lanka. Best is to get off your high horse and adhere to them even if they're a nuisance. It's for your own safety.
Well, frankly you don't have to carry anything to kill someone. You can do it with your bare hands!

You are so wrong. I have been flying for quite some time now and have never ever seen this kind of stupid things in any other country except when boarding direct flights to the US.
Being on the high horse or not, it's my decision. You need to get your facts straight.

I told you about my experience and that of my friends. Maybe others too will share theirs. Anyway, no fuss.
