    පෘථිවියට වඩා ත් සමාන නව ග්‍රහ ලෝකයක් සොයා ගැනීමට තාරකා විද්‍යාඥයින් පිරිසක් සමත් වී තිබේ.අමෙරිකානු විද්‍යාඥයින් පිරිසක් මෙම ග්‍රහ ලෝකය සොයාගෙන ඇති අතර එහි පාරභෞමික ජීවයක් පැවතිය හැකි බවට විශ්වාස කෙරේ.Kepler-186f ලෙස නම් කර ඇති මෙම ග්‍රහ ලෝකය විශාලත්වයෙන් ද පෘථිවියට සමාන බව අමෙරිකාවේ මිචිගන් විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ මහාචාර්ය ෆ්‍රෙඩ් ඇඩම්ස් පවසයි.ඔහු ප්‍රකාශ කළේ, මෙම ග්‍රහ ලෝකය මත ජලය ද්‍රව බවට පත්වීමට අවශ්‍ය උෂ්ණත්වයක් ද පවතින බව ය.

    එම ග්‍රහ ලෝකයෙහි ගංගා සහ මුහුදු පවතින බව අනාවරණය කර ගතහොත් එහි පාරභෞමික ජීවයක් පැවතීමට වැඩි ඉඩකඩක් පවතින බව ඔහුගේ අදහසයි.මෙම සොයා ගැනීම තාරකා විද්‍යා ක්ෂේත්‍රයේ සන්ධිස්ථානයක් වනු ඇතැයි විචාරකයෝ පවසති.

    1. It's 500 LY distant.
    2. It might be tidally locked because it's closer in than Venus. This depends on its initial spin rate at formation, which we don't know.
    3. We have no data on its atmosphere.
    4. Its surface temperature may be too hot or too cold for life, due to its atmosphere.
    5. We can't determine its mass, and so we don't know its density, so we don't know with certainty the strength of its surface gravity.
    6. SETI has been focusing on it and has found no radio signals.
    7. There are some badass solar flares, perhaps one every 4 years or so

    The Good News about Kepler 186f
    1. Its star is an M-dwarf, easily the most abundant star in our stellar neighbourhood. There is therefore an excellent chance of finding many more examplars like this a lot closer to us as surveys continue and broaden and deepen, with TESS and James Webb shortly to come online.
    2. M-dwarfs are typically long-lived and stable. Kepler 186 is stabler than average, given its characteristics, which tends to put its age at the older end of the spectrum for M-dwarves - between 2 and 12 BY. Chances are therefore that it's several BY older than our sun. This in turn implies that any civilisations arising would likely be much more developed than our own.
    3. Upcoming surveys will show us whether it has an atmosphere and if so, its composition. Wait about 3 years for that. We live in exciting times.
