There's a recommended protocol for anti-rabies therapy. Too lengthy to explain it here. In any case have to be assessed by a physician.
Depending on the category, Rabies Immunoglobulin (ERIG or HRIG) will be followed up with ARV (anti-rabies vaccine) OR
only a course of ARV will be administered.

There are two types of RIG - ERIG (Equine rabies immunoglobulin) & HRIG (Human rabies immunoglobulin) The dose is determined by the body weight.
HRIG is very costly and used in special circumstances.

Also there are several schedules used for the ARV. So always seek proper medical advice.
