diesel in Sri Lanka.



- Indian Oil Corporation will be selling auto fuels in Sri Lanka by
taking over 100 retail outlets of Ceylon Petroleum Corporation. The
company has signed the memorandum of understanding with Ceylon
Petroleum


- Indian Oil Corporation has signed a one year $100 million term
contract to supply 30,000 tonnes of diesel and 10,000 tonnes of jet
fuel a month to Sri Lanka.


- Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) has opened a 100 per cent subsidiary
and floated a joint venture company in partnership with Ceylon
Petroleum Corporation in Sri Lanka. Lanka IOC Ltd.

China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation’s (Sinopec) retail fuel operation in Sri Lanka was officially launched on Monday (Sep 25), Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera announced today.
Taking to ‘X’, Minister Wijesekera said Sinopec will initially operate through 150 fuel stations assigned from the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), while 50 new fuel stations are to be established.
Stating that the launch event held on Monday marks a historic energy partnership and investment in Sri Lanka, the Minister added that the energy partnership will strengthen the availability of fuel, quality of fuel and affordability of fuel.
The Ambassador to China Qi Zhenhong, the Executive Director of Sinopec Fuel Oil Sales Yang Junze, Officials of Ministries, Government institutes, the Chinese Embassy, and the Sinopec Group, Industry stakeholders, and Sinopec Dealership partners participated in the event. (NewsWire)
