I was invited to a party, along with my workmates. If I can recall correctly, it was in NIYAGAMA, in ELPITIYA area. Only 3 of us had cars, but nobody wants to drive because we all know after the party, we may not in a position to drive.
One of my workmate's brother got a van, and we ask him to come to the party with his driver, so transport/driver problem can be solved easily.

No use explaining what happen in the party, it's as usual, we were on our way home after the party. This was a rainy season and minor floods all over that area. Suddenly, the owner of the van ask the driver to stop, and got out of the van and start vomiting. His brother attend to him, we also got out and had a leak. After that, we all got back in, and drive some few miles, and all of a sudden, that person who vomited, ask the driver to turn around the vehicle in a strange voice with lots of sign language. Nobody knew what's going on, but van being turn around and going back.
When we reach the place where we stop before, he got out and ran towards the exact place where he vomited.

We saw from distance he pick something up and wash it in floodwater, and came back in, and said in his normal voice, LET'S GO.

    You know what happen??

He was having DENTURES, or false teeth. When he vomited it's also gone out with the vomit. But he not realise that for another 10-15 minutes.

So when he found the place where he lost his false teeth, he pick it up, washed in floodwater, and put back in his mouth.

I suggest DATH KIMBULA should recommend this hygiene practice to everyone with false teeth .

    ආ අංකල් සෑම්...

    This is another funny story.
One evening I was having a drink with my friends, then another friend turn up and said one of our close friends' grandpa passed away, and funeral is tomorrow. So we put everything in my car, and start driving towards Gampola, (I am not telling you the exact town) Everybody enjoying drinks except me, coz I had to drive.
That deceased person had a shop in town, I know where the shop, but none of us knew where he lives. Anyway we got there close to midnight, and check on the shop to find out a clue about his residence.
One of my friends left in the car, because he was little drunk. When we checking the shop, He yelled at us "come back, I found out where the place is" . (When we gone to the shop, someone walk pass the car, so my friend talk to him, and find out the directions to go to that funeral place. )

We found the place in no time, and went in, pay our last respects, (but, I was in little doubt about the deceased person, because he was little different to my friends' grandpa, but I have only seen him few times before)

Then someone ask who we are, and I said we are friends of 'xxx', Then he said to someone, go and wake "xxx" and tell him that his friends are here. By that time the whole house sprung in to action, they ask us to refresh ourselves, have a coffee, dinner is available in next door blah blah. Before anything, We wants to see our friend. Then, a middle aged man came in and ask "kawda mahaththayalaage yaluwaa" ?? Then I said "xxx" Then he said "I am xxx"
Then I told him we are looking for such and such shop owner's funeral, and he said go back to main road and go another 1/4 of a mile or so and turn right again. So we went there, our friend was there too, and everything went ok.
Next morning I was telling my friend xxx, that person who gave us the directions, must have deliberately fooled us and send to the wrong funeral. Then the friend (who was drunk and left in the car) said, "I got the directions from that man , he clearly said there are 2 funerals, don't go to the first one, go pass first one and go to the second one, I don't know how we end up in the wrong place":baffled:
:angry:I told him When grandpa being cremated don't come near that, coz we going to throw you in the fire too.
This bastard was drunk at that time, and could not remember the directions. When he saw the first funeral he said THIS IS IT, so I drove in. Only when he is sober next morning, he can remember the directions, but it's too late.
